K80

K80 (Katie Stadler) is a techno DJ, vocalist, songwriter/producer, and artist based in the Tampa Bay area. Her musical enthusiasm has been showcased at a range of events from organizers such as Ele_mental Sessions, In8 Rhythms, Divine Freak Collective, PRIVÉ, and more. Katie has been shaped by an early foundation in jazz music while being Florida-born and raised. Trained in a space of authenticity, intentionality, and groove; K80 curates a sound that promotes movement while using stripped back elements with continuous momentum. When going to a set, you can expect raw/deep/hypnotic techno, hard-groove, and peak-time/driving techno. Like jazz music, K80 favors the expression you can achieve through sound selection. 

Katie Stadler is also a singer/songwriter who has established a following in the Tampa Bay area. Partnered with her ukulele, she fills spaces with her catchy lyrics and laid back personality. Meeting her audience with a smile, she shares her true stories in the form of poetry and/or song. 

But wait, there's more... When not focused on music, Katie works as a molecular technologist in a diagnostic laboratory. Working in a lab allows her to listen to music while engaging hands-on with her love of science. K80 has recently launched her small business as a painter, and can be found on Instagram @k80.doodles.
